Wholistic Wound Management
Within any health care facility, inappropriate Wound Management practices can have disastrous consequences on the quality of life of our clients/residents, whilst also significantly impacting expenditure and nursing time. NorthCoast Nurses offers exciting and engaging wholistic wound managment educational sessions/packages. This education can result in nursing staff being able to prevent wound occurrence, whilst also being informed on how to actively implement wholistic "best practice" wound management that is person centered, multidisciplinary and cost effective.
NorthCoast Nurses are able to assist in developing 'Wound Warriors' within Residential Aged Care Facilities. We educate and mentor staff that have a desire to learn about wholistic wound management (wound warriors). Our 'wound warriors' are then facilitated to share their wound management knowledge with collegues.
